As the guys and gals foresaw the chance to get engaged—or even married—during the concluding shows next week, it still wasn’t a pretty picture for some. The show began with The Bachelorette stars Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia making a guest appearance to give advice to the ladies.

What did Gabby and Rachel tell the ‘BIP’ women?

Last season’s ABC franchise stars had a history with Tyler, Johnny, and Logan, who joined Paradise after not winning their hearts. Johnny worried they would mess up his new relationship with Victoria, while Tyler had rebounded with Brittany after being dumped by Rachel in his last go-round. Gabby and Rachel took the gals aside and praised Tyler to Brittany. They didn’t say anything negative to Victoria about Johnny. But when it came to Logan, who had ditched Rachel to pursue Gabby on The Bachelorette, they had bad news for his new lover, Kate. “He was our only flip flopper,” Rachel told Kate. “I don’t respect Logan. I don’t think Logan has changed.” Gabby and Rachel then bid goodbye to the beach, leaving Kate with doubts.

Which committed couple had another ‘weird’ fight?

Genevieve and Aaron had spent much of their BIP time arguing and then making up. On Tuesday’s episode, they yelled at each other about the difference between itching and pain after Genevieve had been scratching. Bartender Wells Adams declared it the most stupid fight in history. Serene said the two got in arguments about “the weirdest things.” After the shouting, Genevieve decided, “I’m done! Please get me a car!” and was walking down the jungle path with her suitcase again. Aaron went in pursuit, explaining, “Itching is low level pain. I was trying to make you feel better.” After she snapped at him, Aaron said he was triggered. Genevieve replied that she cared about him and they were soon exchanging “I love yous.” Aaron told her, “When you’re emotional, it takes over everything. “I don’t want you to be upset, ever, OK?”

How were Brittany and Tyler progressing?

Another couple has had a much smoother path. Tyler told Brittany during a dinner date that he felt “something special” between them. “I want to leave here with you,” he said. Brittany said that Gabby and Rachel had told her that he was ready for an engagement.

Who planned a beach party?

Former Bachelor in Paradise stars Becca Kufrin and Thomas Jacobs arrived to tell the group how they were happily engaged after she proposed to him! The successful reality couple then announced the first Sadie Hawkins dance on BIP in which the women would invite the dudes. The theme would be “back to the ‘90s.”

What did Kate and Logan decide?

After hearing Rachel diss her man earlier, Kate was still unsure about long-term love with Logan. As there was a seven-year age gap between them, she sighed in confessional, “He’s still a boy. I need a man.” Logan was tired of Kate’s complaints and managed to convince her how invested he was in their relationship. They agreed to have fun together at the dance.

How did the party unravel?

While Brandon and Serene and Michael and Danielle seemed to be getting stronger as the show entered its final stage, Andrew had just launched a new romance with Ency. He had dumped former love Jessenia in order to make a fresh start. Jessenia was still stewing about the situation and decided to confront Andrew, pulling him out of a party game he was playing with Ency. “I’m beside myself,” Jessenia explained to Andrew. “What’s your goal here in Paradise?” Andrew claimed he wanted to find love, but Jessenia pointed out how he had gone from Teddi to Brittany to her, and then Ency. Meanwhile, Ency didn’t hide her anger that he’d agreed to talk to his ex, Jessenia. Ency tried to grab him back but Andrew told her, “I have to finish this conversation.” She retreated but fumed to the others. Jessenia blasted Andrew for wasting her time and he apologized. Ency tried again to pull him away from her rival but he wouldn’t go, explaining he wanted to stay friends with Jessenia. “You just want me to sit on the sidelines,” Ency pouted. After she retreated again, Andrew admitted to Jessenia, “My heart is somewhere else,” not naming Ency—but his first BIP love, Teddi! Teddi had left the show after not having strong enough feelings for the football player. Andrew said he couldn’t move on with someone else “without getting clarity.” Jessenia told him she was leaving Paradise and rode away in a van. Then, Ency had a showdown with Andrew, describing him as an unreliable “floating magnet.” He admitted to her that he still had feelings for Teddi. “I can’t be here anymore,” Andrew stated. Ency begged him over and over to stay. “Andrew, please, please,” she said, not letting go of the hunk. “It’s not you,” Andrew said, breaking free as she sobbed. He said, “I’m out.” Also, Ency decided her brief time on BIP was over, crying, “I’m going home.” In his departure van, Andrew told the cameras he wasn’t the same after original love Teddi left the show. Ency left in a separate vehicle, crying uncontrollably. A preview for next week’s two climactic finale shows asked the burning questions: Who will commit? Whose relationships will end? Who will get engaged? And—will anyone get married?
