Heche was not expected to survive after crashing her Mini Cooper into the Mar Vista, Calif. residence, though Mishele escaped serious injury despite losing just about everything as a result.  According to Entertainment Weekly, who obtained the court documents, Mishele is now asking for at least $2 million in damages, citing negligence, infliction of emotional distress and trespass. “In addition to losing all of her possessions and being physically uprooted, Plaintiff has suffered and continues to suffer severe emotional distress and professional hardship,” the filing reads.  It states that Mishele is “severely traumatized and without a place to live,” struggling with insomnia, acute anxiety and depression.
