Kerry Washington had the most fun with it out of the whole bunch, as the actress shared a video of her dropping off her vote in one of the ballot boxes reserved for early voting. While the actress danced and pranced her way to the voting station, Funn Club’s “Whoomp! There It Is” could be heard playing in the background. “Polls, Party of 1 🙋🏾♀️ #PartyAtThePolls #VotingSquad,” the caption read. Supermodel Paulina Porizkova has taken up a second job canvassing with her two sons in South Philly. She shared a clip from her recent adventures going door-to-door on Instagram alongside a detailed caption. “We started with trepidation, we had never done anything like this before, and the three of us didn’t know what to expect. What we got was a lot of closed doors but also some lovely connections and conversations. (If anyone recognized me, they didn’t let it show!😂),” she wrote in part. Pop singer Billie Eilish shared a video explaining why she decided to vote this year and a photo of her and a few pals mailing their ballots early. She pleaded with fans in the caption, writing, “please VOTE.” During their memorable visit to Las Vegas, Nevada, The Voice coach John Legend opted to share a selfie with the 44th President, Barack Obama. Eva Longoria shared an adorable photo featuring her youngest son, Santiago, where she described making a “promise to #VoteLikeAMadre.” Eternals star Kumail Nanjiani also shared his allegiance to voting rights online, writing, “We voted. Go vote!” alongside a selfie featuring his wife and writer of The Big Sick, Emily Gordon. Former Grey’s Anatomy cast member Sarah Drew flaunted her post-voting glow on Instagram, “Let your voice be heard!!!!” she wrote. Gina Torres also shared a pic of herself and her voting sticker and told people to “take [their] power back” through voting. Julianne Moore used the power of a smiley selfie to remind her followers to “make their voice heard” in tomorrow’s midterm elections. Lin-Manuel Miranda shared a snap of himself with his voting sticker alongside a caption that told people the five minutes it took him to cast his vote was well worth it. Pop star Katy Perry isn’t one to vote in secret. Instead, she shared snaps of her in the voting booth, writing, “I am voting for a myriad of reasons (see the news) but in particular because Los Angeles is a hot mess atm.” Former One Tree Hill star Hilarie Burton may have gotten carried away with her urge to tell people to vote in not one but four separate posts she shared on Instagram. Even Barbara Howard–erm, we mean actress Sheryl Lee Ralph–pleaded with Americans to vote tomorrow. Celebrities aren’t the only influencers trying to talk people into understanding the importance of casting their vote. Krispy Kreme, as well as former president Barack Obama, have also issued their own campaigns. The donut chain will give out free original glazed donuts in honor of Election Day. As for former president Barack Obama, he collaborated with popular TikTok creators to talk about why people should go out and vote, tagged with #CreatorsForGood.
