It was confirmed today by their spokesperson that the Duchess of Sussex will be joining her husband for the first few days of the Invictus Games in the Netherlands this weekend. The Games, which were founded by Harry for injured personnel and veterans, will take place April 16-22 in the Hague. There’s been no word yet on whether Archie (who turns 3 in May) or 10-month-old Lilibet will travel with their parents or whether they’ll be left at home in Montecito, California—possibly in the care of their grandmotherDoria Ragland. It was at the Invictus Games 2017 that Meghan and Harry made their first public appearance as a couple. They had been dating since the previous year but caused a sensation when they rocked up to the Wheelchair Tennis semifinal holding hands. (This also happened to be the event at which Meghan showcased her now-iconic white boyfriend shirt.) The couple’s last joint appearance was at the 53rd annual NAACP Awards in Los Angeles, at which they were the recipients of the President’s Award for their social justice work. The Duchess looked absolutely stunning in a one-shoulder sapphire blue dress by Black designer John Rogers. The bespoke silk piece featured a high leg slit and a turquoise sash that flowed behind Meghan as a train. Next up, Before She Died in August 1997, These Were Princess Diana’s Final Words
