The reality star, 43, presented her capsule collection at New York Fashion Week on Tuesday, Sept. 13, where she showed up in a long-sleeve lace jumpsuit paired with leather gloves and ankle booties.  In her recent Instagram post on Wednesday, Kardashian shared a series of photos from the night, including backstage photos with husband Travis Barker, along with other glamorous shots of her outfit.  In her caption, The Kardashians star took the time to thank everyone who came to the show, despite a slew of technical difficulties that occurred while the models took the stage.  “I am so grateful to everyone who came to my @boohoo x Kourtney Kardashian Barker fashion show last night! It was SO much freaking fun!” she wrote. “To all of the models who walked in the show you absolutely killed it, even when the power went out and the lights and music stopped.”  She also thanked her team as well as her friends who were there to support her, and, of course, she gave a shoutout to the Blink 182 drummer, who she called “the most supportive husband on earth.”  More of her friends, family and fans further congratulated the Poosh founder in the comments, including Barker, 46, who wrote, “The baddest 🥵my wife killed it 🖤”  But a portion of Kardashian’s fans have been reluctant to support her latest business venture as Boohoo is known for being a fast fashion brand retailer, which doesn’t seem to align with the TV personality’s views on sustainability.  “So disappointed you pick such a criminal brand to partner with,” one user wrote, while someone else added, “Decide to be environmentally friendly when it counts.”  Kardashian—who is often outspoken about taking care of the planet—first announced her collab with Boohoo earlier this week, where she admitted she initially “went back and fourth about” doing the partnership.  “Boohoo approached me to be a sustainability ambassador, and though I knew it would get backlash because the two just don’t go hand in hand, I thought about the fact that fast fashion, or the fashion industry in general, isn’t going anywhere,” she wrote via Instagram. “I thought about the attention this collaboration would bring to people who may otherwise have no idea about the impacts of fast fashion on our planet. I thought about how pushing Boohoo to make some initial changes and then holding them accountable to larger change would be impactful.” But her followers haven’t been so quick to warm up to the idea, with many commenting on her Instagram post to note that “Fast fashion can never be sustainable,” as one account put it. “I don’t think a collaboration where you are putting out more clothes into the world was necessary for this conversation to take place,” another user added, while someone else called it a “strange collaboration.”  “It’s definitely making some noise which is exactly what I was hoping for,” Kardashian added in her caption, noting that she feels “proud” about doing the collab with “intention and purpose.”  She also invited experts with ideas and suggestions to come forward, as she wants to help make Boohoo more sustainable.  More News:
