Phoenix, the 23-year-old daughter of Spice Girls alum Mel B, also known as “Scary Spice,” is taking a page out of her mom’s book in her latest photoshoot, where she re-created some of the singer’s most memorable ’90s looks. In a series of new TikTok videos, Phoenix shared behind-the-scenes footage from various photoshoot sets as she tries to embody her mom while sporting some of her recognizable looks from her Spice Girls days. The first clip showed Phoenix wearing a cheetah-print corset top similar to the one Mel B wore in the shoot for the girl band’s single, “Say You’ll Be There.” Not only does she have the look down pat, but she even did some of the same poses, looking strikingly similar to those of her famous mom. “Re created my mums say you’ll be there photoshoot! What do you guys think?” she captioned the post, which prompted one fan to comment, “Mel B should be so proud!!!!” The next post featured Phoenix wearing a bohemian two-piece set, much like one her mom was once photographed in. She also included the original inspo pic of Mel B in the TikTok post, while putting her own flare on the new set of photos. The following clip showed Phoenix trying to re-create a look from a 1997 photoshoot Mel B did, where she wore a metallic gold crop top and matching pants, while the front pieces of her hair were pulled into two space buns. “Loved this outfit from a photoshoot mum did in 1997 🌟” Phoenix captioned the post, which was aptly set to the tune of the Spice Girls’ smash hit, “Wannabe.” “I can’t. this series is giving me everything, all that joy can bring, this I swear,” one user wrote under the post. ‘Please continue this trend I love it so much 🥰" another fan gushed.
